I had a crush!
This wasn’t the first time, others had come and gone and we didn’t have any special contact, but this was different because we had contact, made calls, kept texting each other back to back and couldn’t wait to see each other the next day.  It didn’t take long before I realized he is a diapered man so the crush didn’t survive.

I love music!
It gives me joy. Music is my escape route. I don't think I've ever gone a day without listening to music either passively or actively. For someone that loves music, yo would think I have tons of it on my phone right?

Have you ever experienced the back and forth change of setting physical boundaries in a dating relationship?

Maybe we should stop kissing for a while. It’s just too tempting to want to go further. Or let’s only kiss while standing. No kissing on the couch or leaning against the wall… well, anything is fine as long as we aren’t in a bed. Okay, it is settled — we can kiss anywhere, but not in your bed.

Days later… never mind, we shouldn’t kiss at all…just cuddling.

But cuddling is making it tempting to kiss you. So what if we kiss, but short kisses. Standing only. What if we just stop hanging out after a certain time? Let’s make a curfew. That will work.

As the big sister, I don't take the responsibility of setting a good example lightly. I just know that at least a one of them will always follow every move I make. I try to set a good example in my taste of things, including clothes, music, movies, blogs, and books.

Before the big 30

Marriage is not an achievement. There is so much more to life than being someone’s wife. Get married please, but don’t be pressured into it. I don’t know how many of you single girls are under pressure to get married but I am. Pressure from family, friends and people who just can’t mind their business. The pressure is so intense right now I feel like going to husband market – if there is any such thing- to buy myself some breathing space. Give me a break you people.- Linda Ikeji.

The devil has many descriptions in the bible as per his nature and functions such as Liar, Deceiver, Serpent, Accuser, our Adversary, Illusionist etc. Any little observation of his work in our times prove that he is yet unchanged. None of that is news. However he is not human and so for him to function here on earth, he works through human beings. That also isn't news. It is clear that the devil has a clear agenda against the church. He hates Christianity. He hates christians. He hates preachers. He'll do everything to undermine them. He'll engage every trick and device and his disposal to hinder and undo them. Basically he has foot soldiers who readily carry out this work. In their eyes everything about the church is evil and criticism worthy. This is their standard thought process. Almost every day on Facebook I see this being portrayed. This also isn't news.

The baffling reality is that some christians have volunteered themselves to assist him. They seem to have reduced his workload and they are so willing to carry out his mandate here on earth. Almost every day on social media I keep getting stung by what I see from professing christians. People who seem to have no restraint whatsoever in what they can say about anyone.

Five ways I pray for my future husband

Hello Phavourites!!!
 My 'What He Must Be' list has changed more than twice since I first drafted it at age 18. I would love to get married someday. Set up a little house with fluffy curtains and vintage bakeware a and a bunch of toe-headed kids running around. I'm not too picky on location as long as the city isn't "too crowded", traffic free and less cranky people.

Sometimes I get kind of caught up in my daydreams, and prayer is the one thing that always helps me get my feet back on the ground to focus on the here and now.
