Heaven's Suprise.








I was shocked, bewildered and confused when l entered heaven’s door
Not by the beauty nor the lights nor its decoy
It was the people in heaven that made me sputter and gasp
The sinners, the cheaters, the liars and the trash
There stood the kid from 2nd grade that stole my lunch money twice
Next to him was my neighbor who never said anything nice
Robb who I thought will be rotting in hell was sitting in cloud nine doing quite well
I asked Jesus what’s the deal? I’d love to hear your take
How did all these sinners get up here? It must have been a mistake
And why is everyone so quiet, so sober, please give me a clue.
And Jesus said “ its because there are all in shock, they never thought they’d be seeing you”

    The thieves, the liars, the sinners,
    The alcoholics and the trash.

    Who swiped my lunch money twice.

    Herb, who I always thought
    Was rotting away in hell,
    Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,
    Looking incredibly well.
    I nudged Jesus, 'What's the deal?
    I would love to hear Your take.
    How'd all these sinners get up here?
    God must've made a mistake.
    'And why is everyone so quiet,
    So somber - give me a clue.'
