Wait!!!! Armpit hair is now a movement for women???

For an online person like me, there are some stuffs I see online that leaves me dumbfounded. While blog strolling few nights ago,I saw this armpit movement. Yes,  it’s a movement – although not a new one. Women are refusing to shave their pits and they’re taking pictures and posting them on social media. Why? Because this progresses the cause for women. And I wonder: how does pit hair or lack of it help the world in general?  

 Personally, I’m all for shaved pits. I don’t find armpit hair in women to be attractive, but that’s just my opinion, and  I do not think that every woman on earth has to shave (but really i think every woman should shave), but if your preference is to keep your armpit hair, then do it. It does not have to be tagged as a movement. I remember when actress, Monique used to grace the red carpet in all her leg hair glory because it was her preference and she was not going to let anyone take it away from her. But it was not a movement

One Flesh

Recently i learnt from Gbile Akanni that when a man prays for/about his wife, he should actually pray like he is praying for himself. Before God, they are one flesh. He should say "Visit me with the fruit of the womb", "Father, give me healing and relief from menstrual cramps" or "Help me overcome bad temper/harsh tongue". His wife's challenges are not just hers, they are his as well. Same goes for a woman too. This will not just bring speedy divine intervention but will birth compassion in the heart of one towards the struggles of his spouse.

Take a look at this scenario; your brother- good health, sound mind, not physically challenged, responsible(maybe) starts dating a lady. From stolen glances ,hidden calls, moderate touch to tasting the forbidden fruit they suddenly realized they can't get enough of each other and really want to make their relationship permanent. Here comes the glitch; she's married!!!

When Daddy asks THE question.

Lemme start this post by saying my Dad can gist for Africa. So whenever he calls me and asks "where are you?" I know its an indication of hot gist brewing. So last month we were having a jolly conversation when the following happened.

On Saturday, l wen to the market to get some stuffs. While i was there , my friend Mexx asked me to help him visit the bookshop and that was where i saw NO MORE SHEETS by Juanita Bynum.  My knees still buckle and I still get panic attacks every time I get on a stage. My self-confidence can be measured out in teaspoons, and it will still taste funny in my mouth. But when they bombed Hiroshima, some people were wiped clean away, leaving only a wristwatch or a diary page. So no matter that I have inhibitions to fill all my pockets, or fears or reservations  I keep trying, hoping that one day I'll write a post or say something I can be proud to let sit in the  museum of your heart as the only proof I existed.

Hey phavourites!!! l'm so sorry this post is coming late. Had an exam today and it was good by his grace. So l have 25 days to my 3rd professional exams and i really need to tie up loose ends and worker harder, so that means i won't be making post everyday but thrice in a week. l really wish i'm not doing this to you but i want you all to come an eat my OATH TAKING/INDUCTION rice next year. So biko nu bear with a sister and pray for me o.....

My Kids will do differently.

I owe my life to my parents. They taught me how to love and how to treat others. They taught me good manners and how I should act in public, appropriately as a lady. They taught me how to fail and how to succeed. They taught me to be brave. They taught me how to live.

But when I started to understand how their parenting system worked, I began to get around it. I incessantly fought with them and tried to rework the system. It became my system, and I wish they had continued to parent me rather than give up.

Rethinking Infidelity

Why do we cheat? And why do happy people cheat? And when we say "infidelity," what exactly do we mean? Is it a hookup, a love story, paid sex, a chat room, a massage with a happy ending? Why do we think that men cheat out of boredom and fear of intimacy, but women cheat out of loneliness and hunger for intimacy? And is an affair always the end of a relationship. Monogamy used to be one person for life. Today, monogamy is one person at a time. We used to marry, and had sex for the first time. But now we marry, and we stop having sex with others. Maybe monogamy has nothing to do with love or maybe men relied on women's fidelity in order to know whose children these are.
