One day I was going to seattle and stopped in for lunch
at a little café. From my window I saw a young teenage girl out in the cold,
squatted down in a close down businesses doorway, holding a small bundle in her
arms. She was panhandling, people were mostly walking by ignoring her. She
looked just broken.

THIS KAIN LOVE SELF!!!!
“The day I go catch u eh!!! I go make sure say I give you
belle so that you go marry me by force” said
Mr X to me on one of our many conversations after I declined his offer
to come spend the weekend at his place. Now, let me tell you about Mr X, we
both had a crush on each other and I never knew his name until two years later
when someone sneaked behind me on my way back from church.
Mr X: hello Osas, good evening

THE SUPRISED VISIT
Sometime ago, l told you guys i started work in an hospital and i promised to share some of the stories with you. Here's one of them. Enjoy.
While consulting
with dr. Cynthia (not real name though)this man walks into the consulting room
and they started conversing in igbo. Of course, my understanding of the igbo
language is still very limited but I had a grasp of the conversation when she said
“ these drugs are free and are provided by the government, so why haven’t you
been on your medication for the past 6 years?”.

The Exam
Last month, I started work in an hospital and my eyes have
seen and ears heard what I can’t even begin to remember. I’ve always underestimated
the importance of life and knowing your HIV status until I started work. I never
knew my little community had such an alarming amount of HIV positive individuals
and the mere thought of it filled me with goose bumps. My prayers every morning
is filled with thanksgiving. As in I am so THANKFUL. A lot of things I do
effortlessly people pay so they can be assisted to do it and even at that it
involves a lot of pains.

Shocking Images of kids going to school
Maybe your parents drove you to school as a child or you probably hitched a ride with a friend or a friend's friend. Maybe you had a taxi come pick you up everyday while your parents paid or you walked. These photos will break your heart.

10 Awesome bridal shower games.
Purse Raid
Before the shower create a list of random things that can be found in the purse. Start with the basic things like mascara, keys, credit card etc and work your way up to more random things like food, an old movie stun, an extra pair of panties. The host calls out the items from the list and the first person to pull the object from their purse wins a small prize. You can do this as individuals or teams.

Yay!!! its Pastors appreciation day.
Today l celebrate a man who teaches the word of God, the word of truth that gives the
people power…the power of love… the love of God!
A man who not only hugs the sheep but touches the
heart of the flock.
The sheep
know his voice and are blessed by his presence.
A man who teaches the medicinal benefit of laughter
and the financial benefits of giving.
A man whose
singing brings light into dark places and pierces the heart into conviction.
A man whose smile actually means “ I love you”.
A man whose
eyes say “ I’m praying for you”.
A man whose lessons from the pulpit make you jump
you and say” I can take the word, bring it on.
A man who
everyone has heard of, most people know, who many people want, but l have him!
Because he choose to stay my shepherd.
A man l appreciate and love, and who l am proud
to call MY PASTOR!
Today l celebrate you Pastor Emeka Nwokike. Dominion city Nsukka celebrate you sir.
WE LOVE YOU!!!
WE LOVE YOU!!!

Marriage Software
I laughed after reading this, think I should share the
humour.
"MARRIAGE
SOFTWARE"
This is what a guy wrote to a Systems Analyst -
(Marriage Software Div);
Dear Systems Analyst,
I am desperate for some help! I recently upgraded my program from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 and found that the new program began unexpected Child Processing and also took up a lot of space and valuable resources. This wasn't mentioned in the product brochure. In addition Wife 1.0 installs itself into all other programs and launches during systems initialization and then it monitors all other system activities. Applications such as "Boys' Night out 2.5" and "Golf 5.3" no longer run, and crashes the system whenever selected. Attempting to operate selected "Soccer 6.3" always fails and "Shopping 7.1" runs instead. I cannot seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background whilst attempting to run any of my favorite applications. Be it online or offline.

Whose Grandma is topless in times square?
I keep wondering why anyone would want to
pose with naked women. And why exactly should it be labeled sexist to not want
them walking around publicly. The argument is that women have a right to do as
they wish with their bodies, and I am all for that, but I am not for people
doing that publicly. There is a reason why certain things are just naturally
done privately. If we all go public with the things we do in private, there
will be global chaos. Being naked is one of those things, unless you’re in a
public place that is designed to celebrate nudity — like a strip club or a nude
beach or your home. Times Square is none of these places

Memoirs from Missions 3
Sunday
was departure day, but not until we fellowshipped with the community churches
who were finding it hard to cope. Numbers “1” and “2” were shared amongst us to
evenly distribute us to the two churches which according to news had been
chased to the borders of the community. Pardon me to call them: “churches chased
to the borders of a border”.After walking for what seemed like over 15 mins to
the outskirt, we got to the church… As service started, I saw that God could
still be worshipped in spite of challenges and trials, there was a strong bond
between both churches as the pastor of “church 2” recounted some of his
experiences there and how they survived thus far,

Memoirs from Missions 2
Day two on arrival was a Saturday (other days of the missions had crusades, house-to-house evangelism, community engagement and prayers) and just like any other camp, the commandants woke us all by 5am to start exercising and this time spiritual exercises. Knowing well that like the Spartan warriors we will be divided into groups to cry, yeah! Morning cry! So we dispatched in groups led by the preachers with mega-phones out to the nooks and crannies of the community that consisted of four villageswith some of us sleep-walking through the bush-path during the morning cry. That was when I recollected the mission field description given to us, which stated that the community which was still majorly practicing ATR (African Traditional Religions) and worshiping what we called “gods” and “idols”, had one shrine at least in front of their houses, which were decorated with

How to become celebrity in Nigeria
Original article on NSG but
I've done plenty modification plus I felt the writer sense of humour is not as dope
as mine( eyes rolling).
Do you truly desire to be the
cynosure of the Nigeria media without
much hassles and stress? If your answer is yes, then this is for you...
1.Wear cheap shoes, very
cheap designer knockoffs.. And let it be all over instagram. Not the kinda
shoes that GLOWY puts up on her blog though.
2. Date a popular musician,
claim him on social media, break up with him and release a single.

THE THIEF
I had a nightmare,
That a thief sneaked in
While the rest of the world slept
And stole the meaning of love
It happened one night many years ago,
Before that, just before nightfall
A daddy had put his hand over a little girl
And he whispered ‘I love you’
She snuggled close, fearless
For the meaning had not be stolen
She knew he was saying that he would protect her
That he would pray for her and provide for her
She could look up to him and put her hands in his.

EVEN BEGGARS DEY HUSTLE.
Physical State: Tired.. Tired... Tired...
Thanks to the characteristic drama of the Lagos traffic.
Today had indeed been busy for me. First, I had had to go to a number of places, each further than the former; and then, I had had to endure a brawl between the seemingly emotionally strained bus driver with a typewriter for a mouth(he just kept spewing those curse words non stop), and a passenger who was aiming for something more physical than just the curses.

When sisters run mad
Walks into room, sweeps,
removes cobwebs, vacuums the floor, dust the couch... Looks around.#heaves a
sigh of relief# so good to be back peeps. Who missed me???
So maybe I should have a
label for some ibelibe posts. Two weeks ago while surfing the net I saw that
Naomi Campbell was on the " free the nipple movement" For those of
you who don't know, "Free the Nipple" is an equality movement that
aims to remove the double standard of censoring female breasts. Many notable celebrities
have participated in the movement including Miley Cyrus, Cara Delevingne.
What's my take on this? Any
woman that decides to join this movement has zero self worth. This isn't
equality, this is a movement that debases women. Like I always tell my friends
we have to be very careful the way we raise our kids these days hence we would
wake up one morning and get the biggest shocker of our lives. Just why
shouldn't the female breast be censored?

This is Lagos; shine your Eyes.
State of Mind: Indecisive.
"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players" William Shakespeare
And all the men and women merely players" William Shakespeare
True. We are merely players on one big stage, and we each have a role to play.
But that was not what got me writing in my diary. Infact, I have a lot of impatience for Shakespearian words. Nevertheless, I got scribbling in my diary again because of one thing : Dramatic Lagos. Put lightly, 'Wahala Lagos', or 'Lagos na wa!'.

A woman on her period ran a marathon to protest period- shaming
Its either I’m becoming too stereotyped or maybe some people have made a decision to remain crazy or just maybe I’m affected by staying indoors too often. So Kiran Gandhi ran a marathon in London while on her period and deliberately chose to not use a sanitary pad/tampon because she wanted to end period-shaming. What is period-shaming, you may ask? I don’t know. I heard about it few days ago and its been an interesting read. Apparently, some women apart from me and my friends have been shamed for having periods.

The Teller l want to slap.
7 years, 7 long years. They say that most business venture will fail within the first 3 years of start up,
and others 5. 7 years I've been an account holder in Ecobank and just yesterday
I got an alert for the first time of a meagre interest of N4.22k . Imagine o..
Maybe they've been paying interest of N0.50k which is very hard to notice. That
doesn't stop them from deducting money
from my account every month even if no transaction was done. Sometimes I wonder
if they charge me for the happy holiday messages they send me. Note that they've never
sent me happy birthday message .. Ever!!!

WORD FOR TODAY.
Sometimes you are unsatisfied with your life while many in this world are dreaming of living your life. A child on a farm sees a plane fly overhead and dream of flying. The pilot in turn sees the farmhouse and dreams of returning home. That's life!! Enjoy yours. If wealth is the secret to happiness, then the rich should be dancing on the streets. But only poor kids do that. If power ensures security, then officials should walk unguarded. But those who live simply, sleep soundly.
If beauty and fame bring ideal relationships, then celebrities should have the best marriages. But those who live simply, walk humbly and love genuinely!

the MAD WOMAN that lived on my street.
I do not know the source of
her insanity but she lived on my street, made us laugh and puts to bed every
year. Sometimes she tells us of her sexcapades and injustice done to her by
men. She'd say " sister osas do u know one man had sex with me today around
powerline and after that he shaved my pubic hair and took it with him?"
And I'm like WTF???
